This draft document consists of remarks made by the President of TCC, Pamela Transue, to the Tacoma City Club on June 21, 2006. The title, "Termites, Rock Removal, and New Lenses for Leaders" discusses the roles of individuals in a professional capacity, and considers the characteristics of several of the nominees for this award that make them leaders.
