This 44-page paper or speech explores the idea of what androgynous leadership might look like. Transue first provides several definitions of androgyny as she intends it; describes the characteristics of traditional leadership and its association with masculinity, and the isolation this can cause for some women; introduces the concept of feminine leadership that centers relationships; discusses the pros and cons of expressing emotion as a leader; the importance of transparency.
