This presentation to the Pierce County and Tacoma Chamber Board held at the TCC Senate Room on Thursday, February 26, 2015 was President Transue's last presentation. With only eight days left before retirement, she named Dr. Sheila Ruhland as her successor, to take over on March 9. President Transue reflect on the last 18 years with the college, and the accomplishments and challenges she has faced. She highlights the seven new buildings, the new infrastructure and repairs to campus, and the new electronic enrollment systems that will streamline the process of registration for students beginning their studies at Tacoma Community College.
