The George "Pinky" Nelson introduction made to the City Club consists primarily of remarks on the named individual in the document, his local education history, being a graduate of the University of Washington where he received his M.A. and PhD in Astronomy. The fourth UW Graduate to become an astronaut, it was the honor of Pamela Transue to introduce to the City Club George "Pinky" Nelson.
