PSA scripts, 1979-1990

This first folder of Public Service Announcement scripts contains documentation from 1979-1990. This includes several datasheets of TAPSCAN multi-daypart analyses, in addition to a number of printed electronic correspondences regarding public service announcements promoting educational opportunities at the Tacoma Community College. Cable TV Puget Sound, Tacoma Municipal Television, KSTW-TV Channel 11, KNBQ-97 FM, and a few other local affiliates carried promotionals for TCC and the Gig Harbor campus for many years. Correspondences between the Office of Information and Publications and the networks include redos of audio recordings for various academic registration periods, as well as drafts and final copies of scripts.

The second folder containing PSA scripts, radio spots by academic quarter, commercial continuity forms with different radio stations, edits to scripts, and registration announcements, from 15 - 60 seconds long for KBRD, KTNT, KNBQ, and KMO radio. Additional documentation on the Southeast College Center affiliated with Tacoma Community College can also be found in this folder. These materials were put together by the Office of Information and Publications for dissemination across Pierce County to draw attention to the many academic pursuits available at Tacoma Community College from 1979-1990.
