File — Digital Files: TCCA007_Magden, Folder: Audio

Scope and Contents

Interview between Ron Magden and John N. Terry, first dean of instruction. Interview discusses the initial legislature that led to the school, the first days of class, the planning and creation of the library. Includes a brief bio of Pearl Wanamaker. Also covers the problems of photographing the campus and Mt. Rainier, the selection of faculty including Frank Garatt, the types of students who first attended TCC, and reviews the Cuban Missile Crisis. Two parts, sounds like it was a soundtrack accompanying a film and/or a class lecture.
