Scope and Contents
This collection contains 67 all-staff emails from the TCC Counseling Department circa 2020-2023. The bulk of the emails are part of the department's "Wellness Wednesday" newsletter series, which was created during the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting campus closure. Content includes TCC and external resources for mental health, wellness, stress management, and other related topics, and often is connected to calendar events such as Black History Month or the academic year, such as final exams.

Historical Note
As of 2023, the Counseling Department is part of the Division of Retention and Student Success and overseen by the Dean of Enrollment and Student Success. The division is overseen by the Vice President of Student Affairs. The counselors are faculty members, and provide individual and group counseling to students as well as teach Human Development courses. They also provide occasional workshops for both students and employees on topics such as mental health, academic stress, trauma-informed care, and other relevant topics.
