Scope and Contents
This special collection brings together the various published material in the Tacoma Community College Archives. Most but not all of these books and periodicals are also cataloged in the TCC Library Catalog. The majority of these publications are published by TCC departments and/or student organizations. Several are external publications that contain works by TCC employees and/or students, and a few others are historic publications on the Tacoma region.

Custodial History
Custodial history of some of these materials was not previously well-documented, however many of these publications have been transferred from the TCC Library's collection. Other materials have been donated piecemeal from various faculty and staff, or in the case of current publications, a copy is transferred to the Archives upon release.
Issues of the Challenge transferred from the TCC Library in 2012. Issues of Una Voce transferred from the Office of Student Engagement (OSE) circa 2012-2020.
Existence and Location of Copies
Some of the materials in this collection have been digitized. Issues of The Challenge from 1965 to 1970 are available via the TCC Digital Collections site.
