Tacoma Community College Communications 220 class oral history projects
Scope and Contents
The collection contains oral history interviews of current and retired TCC staff and of military veterans, some of whom were also current or former TCC students. Interviews were created as a class assignment in Communications 220, taught by Christie Fierro. TCC faculty and staff interviewed: Chris Betz, Joseph Betz, Len Heritage, Ruth Ann Mikels, Tim B. Keely, Kendall Reid, Becky Sproat, and Olga Webstead. 33 military veterans were interviewed, including veterans of WWII, the Korean War, the Persian Gulf War, and the Iraq War.

Abstract

Arrangement
Interviews are arranged into two series: interviews with Tacoma Community College faculty and staff, and interviews with veterans. Within the series, interviews are arranged alphabetically.
