Scrapbooks and a handbook by the Associated Women Students of Tacoma Community College. Scrapbooks include club activities, community service, materials on women’s rights, trips to conventions, and a memo from TCC President Dr. Thornton Ford. There are also photos of members of the AWS and Dr. Ford.

Historical Note
The Associated Women Students (AWS) formed in 1966 at Tacoma Community College, and lasted until about 1973. Every female student became a member upon her enrollment at TCC. The women participated in regional and national conventions and did community service for those in the Tacoma area. On campus, they sponsored dances and fashion shows.
