Biographical note
Phyllis Templin first joined Tacoma Community College Staff in 1965 after earning her Bachelor's degree at Pacific Lutheran University. She joined the college's full-time staff in 1971 with a master's degree in physical education from Oregon State University. Ms. Templin organized the women's sports program at the college and had experience teaching and coaching a wide variety of sports. B.A. In Education - 1959, Pacific Lutheran University. M.Ed - 1968, Oregon State University. Professional Societies - W.E.A, JOHPER and WAHPER, League of Women Voters.
