Biographical note
Ruth Coates, Human Services Instructor, taught part-time at Tacoma Community College and served as a mental health counselor in private practice before joining Tacoma Community College's full-time faculty. She earned her B.A. in Psychology in 1981 from Antioch University, where she minored in Education. In 1983, she finished her masters's degree in Psychology with a minor in stress and spirituality.
